The Knowing-Doing Gap

Jeffrey Pfeffer said it best in his book, The Knowing Doing Gap.

As leaders -- in our businesses, or communities, families -- most of the time we KNOW what to do.

The gap isn’t in the knowing.  It is in the DOING.  When we fail, often it is not because we don’t know – it is because we don’t do what we know is right to do. 

Time to close that gap!
